The aim of this Basic Food Hygiene course is to introduce participants to Food Safety and Hygiene with particular emphasis on the legal responsibilities of the food worker. It is a legal requirement that staff involved in a food environment are trained and/or supervised, commensurate with their work activity. The course is delivered with the recommendations and guidance of the Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) and the standards set by the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI).

For students to participate there are no previous qualifications required.

- Max: 12 Persons
Certification
On successful completion of the course participants will receive a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate from EMS & Associates.
