Course Introduction

The Heartsaver CPR course is a comprehensive course for the lay responder and is particularly useful for those expected to respond to emergencies in the workplace. It is designed to teach you CPR and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction and goes into more depth than the CPR For Family & Friends course. The Course takes approximately 4 hours and you will receive an  American Heart Association / Irish Heart Foundation course completion card upon successfully completing the course. The course is compliant with the American Heart Association 2010 Guidelines for Resuscitation.

Our “Heartsaver” CPR Course teaches the basic techniques of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the relief of choking for adults, children and infants.

Course Contents

  • Scene Assessment
  • CPR
  • CPR (BLS – Basic Life Support) for Adults & Children
  • Use of Infection Control Devices
  • Obstructed Airway Management in Adults & Children
  • Infant CPR

Course Duration: 4 hours

  • Max: 6 Persons

Course Certification

Successful candidates will be issued with an IHF / AHA course completion card which is valid for 2 years
